My main ones are: WARR, STOWE, LAMB, TISDALE - South Newington STRATFORD* - Wigginton (father actually born in Tingewick, Bucks) GARDNER - Swalcliffe EDEN - poss Farnboro' Warwicks, but... *If anyone has an Ann STRATFORD, a servant who was likely to be in Tingewick (Bucks) in 1817, that would be very helpful (and extremely unexpected!). Her birthplace and date are unknown; she & her son, John, are the only two of that name who figure in Tingewick history, according to Su who runs an excellent History of Tingewick website. She doesn't seem to have stayed around to look after her son. thanks Christine

ROBERT CHOWNS He was my great-great-great grandfather. He married in Farnham royal, Bucks in 1801, but on the 1851 census he put place of birth as ASTON ROWANT. This place is crawling with Chowns, but I haven't made the connection with Robert yet. Any help welcome.

Hi Mary I am the one who you very kindly sent all the Bagley info to. I am so grateful to you for doing that for me, like I always say, you are an absolute star, I think you are brilliant. As for the other names, they are connected either to my Bagley families, or my Davenports in Warwickshire. I have just been trying to find out some more info on the families, but not having much luck. Unless you have any parish records that might help me, by the time the censuses were done, they had married, or died. It's parents names of the girls that married my Bagleys and Davenports that I need. Thanks Lisa xx

only have one relly from Oxon as far as I know, and unfortunately so far I only know her first name (Elizabeth) and she was from Blackthorn... married Henry Smith of Gawcott (sometime after 1861). Bit vague isn't it ? lol
