The free trial as I understand is only available until the end of september, so get busy looking during the next month! The 1891 british census is complete but the 1871 and 1901 are only partial. When you get on the Ancestry homepage look to the righthand side, about half way down under the globe and you'll find the link for UK and Ireland links. This will bring up all available resources. Much more than just the census's for you to look at. Hope this is of help. Joanne

Hi Meryl, Once i have logged in i click Biography- Genealogy then on the next page you will see Ancestry Plus click on database then click proceed. Where it says census records i click on More... (click on More... that is underneath any of the other catergories to get the other UK records, BDM for example) then on the next screen scroll down and you will see a list of different census for different countries select the one you want then click go then just search for the person you want. Below the search box is a list of Counties if you can't see a county then it hasn't been indexed yet. I would advise installing the advanced viewer as well. Steve.

Val, there should be no space in the username pubacd17 and the password is durable, that should get you in. Steve.

Hi Thank you Kim and Marcie, I had included the brackets which is why I had no success. It looks as if it will be a useful site. Regards Jepo

After you enter password/username etc, click on the biography , genealogy heading in blue on your left , scroll down to the Times Archive paragraph and click on database, you should then get up a search page to enter whatever you want to look up. Kim
