Gary, I'm amazed that you have 500 ancestors to order certificates for that have all been born, married and died since 1837. I've got less than 30 direct ancestors ie Grandparents, great-grandparents, etc born after 1837. Are you sending for all info on all siblings as well? I wish I had that kind of money. Helen

Sue I agree with you. I don't know what I would do without all the advice, insight and help of others, even while I slept last night Crista in U.S. was on my rellies case, LOL> I try and help and advise where I can, that's what its all about to me, I also want to learn how my rellies lived where, what they worked at etc., I try and check up on the local history etc., it makes them come to life for me. Getting their certs is very important so you can get back ofcourse, but I am very careful which ones I order and the amount at a time I order I couldnt cope with 10 at a time trying to tie in the info, so I only order 2-3 at a time so I can fill in information otherwise I would confuse myself too much, and end up matching the wrong info to the wrong people. But everyone to their own. I don't think complaining about GRO in Stockport is far if there are few thousands out there ordering so many certs at once i am amazed they can cope at all. I find them pleasant quite efficient and helpful. Pat x
