Thank you Amanda and Lou, That is what I thought about version 4 too as most people on here seem to have version 2. Will look at the places you suggest. BIVRI - British Isles Vital Record Index. I believe it covers births and marriages from before 1837. Someone will correct me if I am wrong lol!! Margaret

Margaret According to google and to the LDS site, the most up to date BVRI is the 2nd edition. I'd be dubious of what they were selling claiming it was the 4th edition Lou

Hi Margaret, I bought the 2nd edition in 2003 from the LDS site. Not heard of version 3 or 4. Best wishes Amanda

Where can I buy the BIVRI please? There is one going on E-Bay at the moment, price £12.99 at present for 4th Edition, and another one for about £29. I am not too happy about buying on E-Bay so any reliable source would be appreciated. Margaret
