Two King Everitts on IGI. At one time my late uncle had one of them down as an ancestor.

On the 1881 there are 2 King Charles (Charles is the surname) King George, King Solomon & Prince Penny

It works if you just put in Queen without the space too. I wonder how much money she spent each year on her household of taxpayers money? Penny

I see there are just as many mistranscriptions on this as any other household - clearly the royal enumerator's handwriting wasn't very clear - librian for librarian, sutgeon for surgeon - obviously useful to have one on the premises, you never know! And 3 coffee room women - one to pour, one to stir, one to hand round? nell

On the 1881 there is a 'Eugenie ex-Empress of the French' shown as a visitor!

Here's Edward Albert, the Prince of Wales in 1891, at Sandringham. From googling, it appears that Queen Victoria was in France on 27 March 1891, so may well have still been out of the country by census time (5-April). No Penny her age is correct - the census was taken on 3rd April, i.e. before her 62nd birthday, so she was still 61 at the time.

so was she down twice then in Windsor & Buckingham Palace?

The Queen was head, it not wrong just an estimate (if you take away 61 (he age on census date) from 1881 you get 1820

Hi Can you do address search on ancestry for 1881 to see who was head of Buckingham Palace then? Penny Ps they even have her year of birth wrong as she was born 24-May-1819

You only have to put in "The" as the first name, "Queen" as the surname and Birth Year as "1820". It does work on the Ancestry site too. Interesting how dog-eared that particular page is - reckon that it must have been one of the most frequently-thumbed pages!

she's under the surname of Majesty on 1871 (i was doing the same before) but can't Find Her in 1891 or Edward in 1901
