Im hoping it might be easier to read, putting the request on a thread this way!! I have been unable to find my paternal Grandfather!! We don't know him at all!! he is suposed to have been born about 1881, in Sydney, Australia!! We believe he was in the army!! The Machine Gun Corps!! Either during or after WW1, he came over to England MANCHESTER!! After he left the army he became a Draughtsman, could this have been his profession before the outbreak of war? (is there such a list for Apprentices?) He was known as FREDERICK HENRY GEORGE!!! of course he could have been HENRY FREDERICK GEORGE?? He may have died in London or Manchester in 1927??!!! I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE IN AUSTRALIA AND ENGLAND!!!! WHO HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND OUT SOMETHING FOR ME ALREADY!!! PLEASE PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME????????? Hopefully!!!!!!!
