Hi IV is 4 I=1 V=5 x=10 etc. You take off the lesser number if it appears before the larger number, and add it on if appears after. However does anyone know how you write 10,000 in Roman numerals? David |

the V stands for 5 and the I stands for 1, it means 1 before 5; whereas if it said VI that would mean 6 as the I is after the V. A little roman numerals tip for ya! LOL LMP :) |
