Oh dear! Another thread I started on its downward spiral ....... if there is anything lower than paper folding.

Unknown Report 8 Apr 2005 23:24

Well I'm not trying it. I don't do ironing. Hubbie sees me weilding one of those and he'll start to get ideas!

Unknown Report 8 Apr 2005 23:17

Funnily enough, that was hubbie's reaction when he saw this one and Chris's Grand National Sweepstake. Out of interest, has anyone actually TRIED ironing a winkle?

Tracy How odd! My husband thinks that as I am mad and am always on this site, everyone else on the site must be mad too. I don't have any difficulty explaining it to him! nell

Bill - that's just showing off! Not sure folding (or ironing) certificates is a good idea and it is definitely NOT good to use them for wrapping fish & chips - they aren't greaseproof. nell

Ken

Ken Report 8 Apr 2005 00:51

Geoff I want to know when you got the fish and chips ..... .....how many times was the newspaper folded?

Shell

Shell Report 8 Apr 2005 00:41

THANK'S FOR THAT- BILL ,I'LL KEEP PRACTICING.

Bill

Bill Report 8 Apr 2005 00:37

> Not just newspaper, any kind of paper While that is generally correct, an American high school student has recently been able to physically demonstrate that there are some circumstances in which a greater number of folds can be achieved in practice. The demonstration has no practical value (so far) apart from indicating the nature of the inherent constraints in the problem domain. Cheers, Bill Sydney, Australia
