Ann I have e-mailed Gr about this several times, with no satisfactory reply. They have some useful information hidden way down on the homepage that you would probably miss if you didn't know you could scroll down. They clutter things up with the trivia about how many people are related to George Bush etc (who cares!) and then they keep changing how you can view other trees etc without a) consultation and b) informing us I think the system is very confusing to say the least, without all this chopping and changing. nell |

To GR and list. It is regrettable that GR did not discuss or inform members of this change before implementing it!This could have serious consequences for some members the sharing of our info should be at our disgression, This is as annoying as the need to tick a small box to opt out of recieving junk mail. It should be we tick a small box to opt in ! but then that would not suit the powers that be.Is this a result of Ancestry Com becoming involved with this site ? Any Comments. Ron |

Thanks for your email. I apologise for any confusion on our part. I can confirm that we have just changed our contact system. When you send a contact email the other member can now automtically see your tree unless you untick the box at the bottom of the email. Please let me know if you need any further help. Regards Estelle |
