I posted a few days ago about how to find gg grandmother, with help from Nell, who was Hester Hannah Jones. On 1901 census she's a visitor staying with the Woodcraft family. Her husband, William Roberts, a private detective is not with her. Anyway after reading some posts yesterday about using address on census, I put into 1901 census, last known address I have for William Roberts, which was Waterloo Road, and only put surname as Roberts, didn't use a forename. I then clicked on all the possibles, and up popped William Roberts, age 27, originally from Cornwall. He's down as a Metropolitan Police Officer, but he's a boarder with a family also called Woodcraft. Is its coincidence that both Hester Jones and William Roberts are both with Woodcraft Families. I thought I had found my William Roberts, until I looked at his marital status and it has him down as 'single' could that be a mistake??? (god I hope it's wrong lol) Sarah
