Whilst surfing the net generally searching for any referance to the COUBY surname... I came accross surname finder. On this site you invited to vote for it, to place in a top ten of genealogy sites. Fine no problem with that... I voted...... Then out of curio i scrolled down to see what else was in the list. One of the sites is a family tree site set up by one family name. They claim to 'have a family tree of over 2400 members dating back to well before the time of christ' Out of curiosity i clicked on the site.... the claim to start their tree with a younger member of the family and 'following her ancestry through 99 generations. spanning over 2000 years' Is this really possible?????? I say good luck to them but can it really be verified that far back???? Shelli |
