Freemasons would they have old records anywhere

Sorry for crashing this post (and showing my ignorance)but ... I've got a Ladies Festival programme (& whist scorecard)from the Midland Hotel, Manchester Oct 31st, 1931. It says under the Ladies Festival bit Bro. T Barlow worshipful master. Is this the masons? Because he's my grx2 grandfather. It also says Oakwood Lodge, no 1126 at the top. I found it in with my dads old family photos & never quite understood what it was about. I'd be grateful for anyones help. Rachel |

yes a Worshipful master is a freemason not sure about the lodge have you tried googling it |

To be honest it scared me a little when I found it! I don't know why, its not something I could explain. I've just had a look and there is a Oakwood Lodge 1126 on their website. I might ask them if they have any info on him. Rachel |
