Leigh You cant get a cert that early. Registration didnt start until the 2nd half of 1837. All you can hope for is a copy of the marriage from the parish register. That wont name the fathers though. All it usually says is the names of the bride and groom and if they were from the parish or not. You will get the witnesses names though. The age may just say 'of full age' or 'minor' if they were under 21. Margaret |

Hi Leigh Civil reg didn't start till 1837 so there are no certificates prior to that date. You'll need to locate the parish register entry for the marriage but it wont give you their father's names as certificates do. You'll get bride and grooms names, usually whether they were batchelor/spinster/widowed, their ages and witnesses. Sometimes it will also state the grooms occupation Lou |
