Hi Kate I wonder if you could look up SARAH GALLON for me on the 1901 census. I found her at age 7 in Burradon, Northumberland, and am pretty sure she was my Great Grandmother - could you give me the full listing and details of who her parents and siblings were? Thanks Sarah

If youve got a min, could you check something for me, as my subscription to ancestry has ended. 1851 census Alfreton, Derbys: James Marriott born 1797 in Sutton, Notts. Described as 'head' on the 1851 census. Could you give me names of any family living with him? I believe there's a H.Moss (servant) too but haven't got the first name. Are they living in Alfreton itself, or a village? Thanks!

Hi Kate, Could you look in the 1851 census for an Abraham Hollingworth (born 1838) who I think was living in Heaton, West Yorkshire (Leeds/Bradford area) at the time. A list of those living in his household would be most useful. Many thanks, Will.

Kate, it could be because would you believe it, Sarah Spencer was her maiden name, as well as her married name. I thought she was married by 1901, but I could be entirely mistaken. Will you be able to let me know what you've found please. Thanks so much for helping, take care from Beryl

Hello Kate. Thank you for your kind offer to help. I have a couple Sarah and Robert Spencer. All I know is that Sarah was born in Parbold, Lancashire about 1873/74. Lots of my relations were boat people in Lancashire, so maybe Robert was too. I wondered if they were on the 1901 census please. With many thanks, best wishes from Beryl
