Hi Rosi, Thanks for your efforts anyway, but those Coyn's are not mine. It's typical of mum's side of the family, both her parents were elusive and now gt grandparents too. Still at least they're all consistent I suppose that's something to be grateful for - I think! thanks again anyway, hope it didn't cause you too much trouble, good Hunting, Lou

Hi Margaret, Alas there is no spouse name listed in 1907, so although I can find the entry for Joseph Featherstone in 1907 ok it does not give me the name of the spouse. Sorry I don't see how I can help. :( Rosi

Hi Rossi, I haven't got the reference details, I've been searching and have ordered a cert but it wasn't the right one, am having great difficulty find this birth. John Coyne b 1875 in Claycross Newmarket Derbyshire. I note the 2 reference your have given me, but I'm still confused. I have the family on census from 1881 - 1901 all stating John was born in Claycross / Newmarket Derbyshire. The family were living in Derbyshire in 1871 and in 1881 were living in Staffordshire where they had been living till 1874 when they had another child named Frank. Would I be too cheeky to ask for another look up this time for their son Frank born 1874 in Walsall Staffordshire Regards Lou

Susan I can only look at the entries listed in the BMD Registers. I need possible names and dates and an area to make any progress at all Looby Loo. Am not sure if you already have the registration details for the COYNE birth in 1875? Remember I can only give you the registration reference details if I can find them - I cannot get at the information on the Certs. Please let me know if you want the COYNE birth reference details and I'll look for them Rosi

Thank you so much for your offer. I don't know whether this is too early a date. I'm looking for a marriage in SUFFOLK between 1815 & 1820. of Thomas Knights (b 1781) to Hannah Pell ((B.1791.) Their first child Henry was born in 1820 . I would much appreciate it I've been trying for 2 years to find who Thomas's parents are. I believe the marriage may have been in Westerfield (where Hannah came from) or Ipswich or Ashbocking. I'm only guessing at these places, as they were places they lived. I only KNOW it was somewhere in Suffolk, many Thanks
