Hi Jess, I have my Gt Gt Grandfather James Wernham born1855 Hungerford and married to Mary nee Kimber born 1859 on the 1881 census living in Wantage,Berks - -1891 Eastbourne ( name Wenham) that you traced for me and 1901 also in Eastbourne. I have tried every name variation trying to find him on 1861 and 1871. There is a James born 1857 on the 1871 in the Poor house. I have tried to check villages in Berkshire looking at all listed but no luck Perhaps a fresh pair of eyes might spot something. Regards Jill

I hope you had a great time and that the wonderbra and socks did the trick re the coming interview?? I was home by 9.30pm as the event was pretty child orientated.....Son was sick over me within the first 5 mins (7.05pm) so I spent the rest of the time being avoided because of the smell of vomit all over my clothes (well, I suppose that was why??)........ Hope yours went better than that?? Merry

Hello Jess, I'm after an 1891 in Newport, Gwent but have very scant info. I am to my limit on ordering certificates so am not allowed to get anything for ages. I am looking for Thomas Hayward born around 1868 in Shropshire (Wellington). Can you find him in Newport? I know he married in Newport in 1893 and I know bits of him in 01 in Wales. I hoping he will pop up with ma and pa but unlikely. Thank you, Selena

I think Shrop for 81 - 91 looks good for Rogerstone - that's exactly where my lot are from. Why a boarder with same name? So diffcult!!!! Thanks so much Selena

Pamela - have loads to do, just under a lot of mental pressure at the moment and need brain to be useful, rather than in thought contemplation mode.
