NOOOOOOOOOOO Just one son!! The one shown as aged 21 in 1881 doesn't appear on the earlier census, because he wasn't born until 1878!! He is Isabella's son - that's why he has her mainden name as a middle name! If there were two sons they should both be on the 1881 census together!! Note the 21year old has the right middle initial! So that means George Roberts Senior - had two sons named Robert - one presumably by fist wife - and one by Isabella - I would never have thought of that - reversing the figure - very clever -

Have you got the marriage cert for George Eban Roberts and Isabella?? (does it say widower for him, or were you just guessing, on the assumption he had a 21 year-old son, which he didn't!!) Merry

I looked at the 1881 image for George the son, aged 21, because in 1891 there is yet another George Roberts (recorded as son of Isabella, widow) and he is recorded as aged 12. So, George son 21 in 1881 and George son aged 12 in 1891 though the image confirms the above.......I was suspicious that George (aged 21 in 1881) is not on the earlier censuses.... So...........I decided he must have been 21 MONTHS in 1881or 2 in 1881......and I was RIGHT!!!
