Having found that a particular surname was linked to all the christian names in the alphabet from one member. The same person had a large variety of silly middle names .I thought lets look for Donald Duck and you will guess about a dozen in many different Ponds. Mostly USA .Take a look. Tony. |

I do agree, these idiots are annoying and they get everywhere! I also belong to a local on line community where people from the united states delight in just posting porn links! I am told they are called 'trolls' and that the best way to discourage them is to ignore them because all they are looking for is recognition that they have anoyed or just plain been noticed! There are a large number of people seriously interested in research on this site, and for the most part willing to share tips and help others. I have got some really good ideas from these notice boards, which incidentally I have grouped together on my web page for easy referance www(.)researchmyfamily(.)com/UsefulLinksandFreeGenealogySources(.)htm ----remove brackets So maybe the best thing to do is just pretend the idiots aren't there!!! |

I am hopeful that GR may take a little more care as I have pointed out to them that Her Maj is listed here several times, and I wondered if she had given her permission. Mindful of possible knighthoods slipping away GR have said they will look into it. Wouldn't it be nice to have a site which is not infested with idiots, so that we could all get on with our serious research. |

I've just found the Prime Minister - Anthony Charles Lynton Blair (1953) - only the one hit for this name, though. I bet HE hasn't given permission to be on here!!! Still, there seem to be more hits for royalty and world leaders than famous actors. I thought somebody would have Stan Laurel or Oliver Hardy on their trees. |
