I understood it, Jess. :-) ..................................................................................................................................................... If you look at this site: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb*.*com/~kayhin/61532.html (please delete asterisk) you will see 1861 census with a Sampson Julyan being a farmer of 70 acres. There is quite a lot of Cornish census free online. :-) Joy

Geoff. looking at the board, with all its list of requests - at the top You'll see the words VIEW YOUR THREADS ONLY, if you click on that , you'll only see the requests that you have made - two to date- and any that , when you have been searching for longer you have contributed to, by helping someone else. The minute you add another reply to this ( what is know as a THREAD), it will whizz back to the front of the queue, from however many pages back in the board it has got. probably best stick to this one for the time being UNLESS you want to start another topic (or family) gawd, that was a lot of waffle!! It stays for ever and ever and ever and ever UNLESS you delete it. PLEASE DONT, not for the time being anyway!! Jess x

Elaine Report 7 Feb 2006 14:36

Jess - I think that is probably the right one but there are a lot of Julyans around in Cornwall at that time. I think Geoff should get the marriage certificate of Eliza and William Henry Julyan so that we can be sure of fathers name. Reference for Geoff PEDLAR, Eliza Jane Year: 1876 District: Truro County: Cornwall Volume: 5c Page: 245

I have just checked the OPC site: www*.*cornwall-opc.org (please delete asterisk) and there is an email address and name for the online parish clerk for Withiel. I am sure she would be happy to help with all the resources she has. Joy
