Well, you learn something new everyday! I have never seen that match tab before - am I daft or is it new? Liz

Hi Liz It does search for both the names as the ones I have checked have both been there but it is only giving me one year at a time. I wondered if it could be because the names are so common i.e. Smith and Spencer but surely it should work the same whatever the names? Chrissie

Dont quite follow that Im afraid. If you put in an event, year, area (or leave it wide open) then it should bring up everyone on there that match. If its a marriage it will bring up a list of grooms or brides (depending on the name you searched) with the area, date etc. To see if the bride is a match (I think its for all years now) click on the match tab at the end of the grooms line. Oh Liz has just told you it dont work on that period. Im not sure how you can put in two names? Do you mean it is only giving you one marriage at a time? One tip though, ONLY use ONE first name when searching.

It should show all the marriages, but for the years you stated you cannot cross-reference the 2 names. You have to search twice and hope for a match. Could it be that there were only marriages for that name in the first year, and none took place in the other years for that name? Give me the names and I will have a go... Liz

Does anyone use the Family Relatives site please? I have bought some units this morning but I am a bit confused. When I ask for marriages between 2 different names 1894-1904, then click search, it is coming up with about 5 each time but when I go to view it is only showing the first year selected. Should it be showing all the marriages that fit the criteria between 1894 and 1904 please? Thanks - Chrissie
