1906 born cant find parents. ideas?

Unfortunately, this thread is a very old one ............. 2006!!


It is very probable that Karina no longer looks on the Boards.


and GR does NOT send notifications of new postings on threads.


May I suggest that you send her a pm (personal message). GR will then send her an email to say there is a message waiting in the internal message system.


Just click on her name, or on Send Message. Type your message, then click Submit.


Then all you have to do is hope that she still has the same email address that is on record with GR.

A Harold Thomas Adams born Knowbury is on the 1911 census along with his parents and his sister Frances Elizabeth.

I'd start with his birth certificate, since you know what year he was born. You can look for the reference on Ancestry. It will give you both his parents names, then you can look for them on the 1901 census. Kath. x

his birth cert will name his mother and his marriage cert will name his father -so you need both these first regards louise

got name of grandad and place of borth, possible even full address, but cannot find info on his parents, any ideas? my grandad harold adamsborn in 1906 in knowbury shropshire. he had younger brother called sam, no date of birth, and older siter called ann, as far as family can remember. they lived at 296 hurcott rd kidderminster. but i cannot find any further records goin back or in relation to his siblings. got all harolds as my grans is easy, but his is driving me mad. can you help with ideas? got no full date of birth and apparently the name adams has origins in ludlow, there were shed loads when i looked on ancestry etc, mostly harolds!!!!
