have started in 1930 up to 1935 at the moment just trying to find all edward henry scott and cross referance them with maiden name os spouse to see if any are glayds long shot or what!!! i dont even know if they were married in stoke or colchester or dunnmow way as that where he was stationed at some point because if have some letters from him to my mother regarding the other wife (glayds) he must have been having an affair with my mum!!!!! |

more likely he lied about the 1913 to make him 21 when he joined up, when and where have looked for the marriage to this gladys |

no sorry i have not got actual birth cert but have looked up birth for him in 1915 its there on the 1/8/1915 with mothers name poole born in wolstanton unless he lied about his age that was when we had his birthday he died in 1979 aged 64 |

have you got your dads birth certificate eto confirm his date of birth ? did he have to be 21 to join so lied to get in? |

i have my dads soldiers service and pay book his name is EDWARD HENRY SCOTTdob 1/8/1915 but in the book it is put down as 1/8/1913 enlisted in BURSLAM S.O.TRENT.9/1/1935 his next of kin is GLAYDS SCOTT (WIFE) my dad was married before to this lady how would i find when he was married have tried to look through the BMD bit by bit but it is doing my head in is there an better way or not any surgestions kindly received |
