thats great information carole and ccuts the search down further, i will keep looking, may take some time and have to do kids tea but will look later and let you know, let me know in the meantime if you find out anything else |

have found some births but so far not found 3 with the same mothers maiden name.....am still looking though so dont give up yet name Quater Year Place Volume Page mothers name Jean March 1935 Stoke T 6b 192 Rowley Jean Dec 1936 Stoke T 6b 251 Jones Jean March 1937 Stoke T ? ? Hulstone Jean March 1939 Colchester 4a 1380 Scott Jean March 1942 Stoke T 6b 185 Johnson Jean V March 1941 Colchester 4a 1365 Jay Sydney R Sept 1943 Stoke T 6b 385 Kardley Sandra E Dec 1948 Colchester 4a 738 Carter I did think that at a push Rowley and Kardley could be the same but bad spelling or hard to read handwriting meant they are listed differently howerver as yet i cant find a birth for sandra that would back up this theory |

How about a marriage for the children and get a birth year from the marriage cert? Or death of Gladys - might give some clues..... |
