ok My GGranfather george DOB 1875 in Swilland Suffolk died 1948 married to Ellen Revell DOB 1890 in henley died 1972 My GGGRandfather Benjamin born 1841 in Suffolk married I think Maria Unknown last name born 1838 in nulbrook hampshire no other information on GGGrandparents |

I keep getting confused between the information on different census and how to use it. the 1901 census is great but all the others arent the same i dont seem to be able to get the right information???? |

Well, I know my GGGrandfather is Benjamin cattermole who had a son called George George had many children 1 of whom is my grandfather Walter Cattermole. I know hwere benjamin was from DOB but there seems to be two on the 1901 census which could be him 1 with a George but I think he is too young to be the right one, One the 1891 census i find Benjamin cattermole with 2 sons george and Charles which seems to fit but then the mothers name is differnet to what we originally thought it was. does this help Anyone wishing to view my tree can do so with pleasure if this will also help |
