no, I can't find Hannah (his mother) either am assuming they are mistranscribed but as what? would have thought WHITE was a pretty bog standard name Linda x

In 1881 is he living with his wife or sister, i know image reads sister, just looks like same woman in later census's....image also reads he is married... Hannah may still have been living with the father even though not married, so on census she may show to be married......... she obviously had a man about to produce 9 children lol Do you have names and year/place of birth for the other children???

1881 The Sarah is his sister he also married a Sarah just to confuse things!

Edwin is with his mother Hannah in 1861 (as lodgers son), Edward could well be Edwin in 1871 census that Paul found... Birth year for him about right for both census entries...
