You could find Annie on 1901 census and get her birthplace from there and then look for her birth cert. I have to go as son needs to do homework but I will see if I can check back later. nell

Marriage 23 Nov 1896 Annie Morgan age 29 At time of Marriage Lived at 34 Empire or Engine St Glanford Brigg Lincs Father Edwin Morgan OCC: Quarry Man So you need to be able to verify previous census info and stuff you've found on ancestral file? OK. In my experience, personal submissions on ancestral file can be accurate or complete tosh. If it gives any references, you can check them out, but I'd be wary of any information with no indication of where it came from. I will take a deco for Annie in pre-1881 censuses. nell

Hi Marriage cert says DATE: 23 Nov 1896 Wife: Annie Morgan age 29 Husband: Albert James Owen age 34 OCC: Gun Maker. At time of Marriage Lived at 34 Empire or Engine St Glanford Brigg Lincs Her Father Edwin Morgan OCC: Quarry Man His Father William Owen OCC; Painter They All originate from Shropshire. Both me and my Mother have searched in vain for this family Trying to find Annie with her Father Edwin on census's and find her Birth info...Not knowing who the mother is... My Mum has been in touch with a distant relly who does look ups for her and he has given my mum the 1881 details Shropshire for Ann with father Edwin / Edward b:abt 1837 and Mother Ann & Several Siblings....How do we know if this is OUR Annie..or dont we? We then looked on LDS and found the family on Ancestral File. Giving lots more info for family.. Without knowing or being able to find Annie / Anne / Ann Birth info can we assume this is OUR Annie on LDS After looking myself on Census's and not being able to narrow it down whats the next step?
