Have considered that Heather.........heres another snippet I found a few days ago- agog at th lack of info on the net,I did notice one little detail- someone has gone to town on recording their family and others along with a village cricket team.........now this cricket site has photos of the teams in the 19th century ,and on one page he has detailed th individuals and whre the photo was taken.......3 of them were taken in this village Edwinstowe......and who was the photographer ????.......... my Walter albert Tudsbury !!....wasthere anything they didnt do ?? LOL

If the telly and the pooter hadn't been invented, just think of the interesting things that you would have been able to master instead: Whittlin' on a stick (whatever that is) Clog dancing Tatting (my great aunt used to do that one) Makin' summat out o' nowt Lacing up your stays Feeding a family of 14 on one carrot, three onions, a bucket of lard and a dry crust What would the rest of you like to master? Pass the remote control, someone.

Whittlin on a stick is what I did as a kid-maybe this wood carving larkm is in my genes-its basically grabbing a stick whilstout walking ,getting your penknife out and making something from the stick-or decorating it with carving.....im only 38,and used to do this when I was 10.......now Ive found my 3rd great grand uncle and his 5 childern (first cousins 4 times removed) were wood carvers and cabinet makers.

Heather its no good you being jealous because I had a Prairie Fork player and you dont, And why are you bored surely you are planning the holiday of all holidays with all those fivers ?? how many is it now ??? less of course the one I earnt which you begrudged me on the other thread. Still having problems with those neighbours of yours?? By the way my mother played the Violin , my Grandfather played the Horn (no rude remarks now) .
