well this may be relevent i have not had problem on GR but i have no end of prob with hotmail similar nonsence i have to sign out as soon as i have deleted perhaps 10 messages and sign back in cos if i dont and click on to say another folder i return to inbox to find all the messages back again!!!!!! grrrrr my conclusion is a bug virus ect i did a scan on computer and it has made it a bit less of a pain!!!! by the way found 50 virus's and i hadnt long done a scan damn things wish these IT idiots would clear off and leve us alone and go play with something else!!!!!!!!!!!! instead of hacking around and creating VIRUS'S not sure may be the updating of the site may have something to do with it Trish

I had the same problem with my Inbox, but as of 2 minutes ago, it appears to have been fixed. I wish they'd fix the GEDCOM upload as quickly. This is becoming a joke of a service.

Goonergirl, If you read my thread again i am sure that you will see that i am not blaming any one, but i don't think that the security on this site is up to the standard that we as paying members deserve, every day the systerm on this site goes wrong and i see no reason why the security should not be questioned ? Roy Id be very carefull about blaming gr (without proof) regarding the credit card scam. Payment on here is normally secure, but unless you have a firewall, someone can still hack into your personal pc and gain info, its the same if you make a transaction anywhere online or in a shop....fraud is everywhere. as for the inbox........Its most likely a blip, if genes are working on the contacts section, it may be that its going haywire At least the messages cannot be read by others.
