Hi Glen, Sorry just having another look at 61, I know that Ellen had a baby born in 1873 out of wedlock, so thought that Ellen c1859 would be quite young????? Eeek or would she.... Lisa PS Phew Glen, I nearly had a breakdown!!!!! LOL

On the 1871 the 4 year old was it called Edwin? As I have a Ellen Pascoe with a 15 year old Edwin in 1881.

Hi Lou, 1871 census is James Midlin (trans error) age 72 years Ellen Midlin age 22, unemployed servant Mary Ann g/daughter age 4 Living Franc?? Court, Falmouth. Confused? Me too........ Lisa

The four year old in the 71 was called Mary Ann. From the 61 to clarify my earlier mistakes. RG9/1565 James Medlin Head age 63 coal porter Ann Medlin wifre age 57 Mary daur 22 (the one that confused me) servant Ann daur age 19 >>>>Ellen daur age 11 scholar born Budock Cornwall Street address is Fish Strand Hill,Falmouth This one could be a possiblematch for the22 year old in the 1871. 1881 census Falmouth we have Frank Pascoe (age 25) Stone mason Ellen Pascoe (age 26) We all lie about our age! Elizabeth Pascoe (age 2) 1881 there is a Mary 14 working in a hotel, which would explain her not being with the family. Do you think this could be the family

Hi Lou, My good grief, that makes sense, so I if ordered Mary Anns birth cert and it shows Ellen as mother, when she married, Marys name was changed to Pascoe...... quite sad, if this is so, Ellen had another child in 1873 ( my g grandmother) who lived with her Uncle and Aunt, Ellen was also unmarried when this child was born.... I have always wondered why? Didn't want baggage maybe? Thanks so very much for all your help Lisa
