That's what I don't know because she married just after the 1891 census, but died before the 1901 census, and I can't find her in 1891 in the village at all.

I have asked before but it hasn;t gone anywhere - but now I have more details. I am trying to find my gg grandmother. She married my gg grandad on May 17th 1891 (spinster age 23) both of them are down as living in Altofts. Her Father is Thomas Owen, a miner. The witnesses at the wedding were John and Margaret Owen. Sarah Chilton then died on 13th January 1897 aged 28. The problem is that I cannot find her at all on any census. I can only find this in 1891: View Record Albert Owen abt 1871 Oakengates, Shropshire, England Son Altofts Yorkshire View Record Elvia Owen abt 1841 Smfrace, Shropshire, England Wife Altofts Yorkshire View Record Thomas Owen abt 1841 Dawley, Shropshire, England Head Altofts Yorkshire The trouble is that when following this family through the census I cannot find any mention of Sarah with them. Any ideas and help greatly appreciated. Thanks Tom
