Val that's great! The only thing that concerns me is that on the 1901 census it states her birthplace as Sheerness Essex. But then I get confused as to weather I was born in Sussex or Essex so i know it's easy to say one thing one year and another the next.

Hi I would order a certificate of a child, a child that I am certain about eg Kathleen. Then you can match up the marriages and buy the MC if you need to find bride and groom's parents. Val

Ok I follow you now. It's late I better tootle off to bed but thanks everyone for helping me work through that. Tomorrows lesson will be how do i order the certs lol But i'll try and figure that one out on my own ;) Night all. Boy oh boy he was a police man for the met how kewl! Helen

helen this is arthur scullys birth i know its him you are interested in Births Sep 1897 Scully Arthur Edward Pancras 1b 68 love linda x x if you have this cert then it will give you mother and fathers name and it will tie in with annie richards side of the family
