OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH, WHOOPS!! Presume you mean ''ceremony''??? (lol, NOT!) ****Wash my mough out with soap and water****.....(if I had any soap, that is) Going to bed now.....will call back tomorrow to see if that ungrateful-so-un-so-Heather-from-Warks has deigned to call for her delectable prize, which will save her 100's of hours of housew**k in the years to come................. And, as I am in a magnanimous mood (half a bottle's worth) I will reveal a closely guarded secret: Norman French is remarkably like common or garden french, only without the accents and circonflexes. Lot of fuss about nothing, if you ask me! OC

You would think Heather from North Warwickshire might at least pretent to be grateful for her prize by being here at the award ceremony............................... ! Merry

When I made a short visit to Cornwall at Christmas (don't ask!)....I saw someone collecting wool from barbed wire fences, muttering, ''must get those settlement certificates and court-leet papers this week''....I don't know who it was, but they had a book hanging out of their bag entitled, ''Learn Norman French in Three Weeks''. Any ideas???? Merry

Heather Report 2 Jul 2006 22:47

Is it going to be a twist like Big Bro and the prize will be staying with O.C. for the next three days cleaning the house from top to bottom in expectation of the arrival of super housewife friend?

Merry Report 2 Jul 2006 22:34

OC - How did you know that???? As you have caught me out, I will now hastily take it out of it's wrapper (has a price sticker marked 1s 3d on it!) and cut it into two....then stitch it into two multi-purpose glove/sock style dusters. She'll never realise it was almost an antique! (If you don't mention it, that is.............) Merry

11 is my best; the one family I have with 12 kids never, as far as I've managed to find, had more than 8 around at once.

Heather Report 2 Jul 2006 22:08

Actually, Im out of it, Ive looked again and only 10 kids with them at any one time, not the 14 of them. So my top fig is 12.

Match the 10 children plus Mum and Dad a couple of times but cannot beat it.
