have you looked on the freebmd index on ancestry its the same as the 1837 site http://www.ancestry(.)co.uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx Remove brackets Jeanette |

Registration of births wasn't compulsory until 1875. Have you found him on an earlier census with brothers and sisters? |

Have you only found him in 1901 - not on any other census or do you have his marriage cert with his age? |

Been looking for hours and hours and can not find a birth on any of the BMD sites. Wondered if anyone might be able to find or give some advice on where to look next details; Frederick Tingle born 1863 Cinderford Gloucester This info ties up with 1901 cencus but just cannot find a birth reg. and help would be soooo welcome |
