It's gone. The Tree viewer is there. What do I do?

Unknown Report 3 Aug 2006 11:16

All of it? Give me a name off it to look up and l'll see if it's listed.

RStar Report 3 Aug 2006 11:35

I clicked on your name and it says you have 211 people in your tree, so it may just be a temporary thing.

Is there anything in the Tree Viewer - i.e. are you able to search for a name in your tree and see if anything comes up? Dea x

George is still there so your tree must be, but for some reason you can't view it.!!!!!!!! How are you trying to see it? - Can you get to it through 'my relations' ?? Dea x

Gordon Report 3 Aug 2006 14:02

Have you tried exporting the tree and seeing if you get a gedcom file eMailed to you? That would confirm that the tree is still there. And if all else fails then you could try re-importing it to GR. Gordon

Dea, you're a lifesaver! Clicked on my relations and then got my tree! Tried everything else but that. Thank so much for the replies - restores my faith in human nature just reading this board. Sandy

OOOhhh Sandy - I just felt a 'warm glow' I'm not very technical really and I don't know much about computers, so have to go the long-way round and follow 'my' logic if I have a problem. SSSoooo pleased I was able to help. Dea Xxx

SRW Report 3 Aug 2006 14:49

It's gone again!!!!! Can still get it by going to My Relations first, but find that a pain. Send a message to GR - hope they fix it! Dea I'm not at all technical, either! Hope I haven't done something funny to my computer!

SRW Report 3 Aug 2006 14:51

That should read 'sent' not 'send'!!!!!!

Dea

Dea Report 3 Aug 2006 14:53

PPhheeww!!! It's a good job you corrected that quickly, or you would have had 100,000 GR members e-mailing GR Team to 'Save Sandy's Tree'!!!!!!!!! Tee hee !! Dea Xxx

Now whrn I go to My Relations and then to Tree it's fine until I click on myself. I then get a message saying there is a problem connecting to Genes Reunited!

Just had a reply from GR Support Team. They have passed message on to their Technical Team. Still can't view my tree unless I go somewhere else first, then backtrack.
