I've being having the same problem Elaine so you're not on your own!! You better pour me one of those bacardi and cokes - and make it a large one! Pain in the rear end having to go page by page. For me it's also on the bmd pages.

Can I ask someone to experiment for me Can you do a lookup 1871 William Borwerie RG10/1130 154-12 It comes up on page 12 of 54 (Portsea Workhouse returns). Can you type 1 into the box, press GO and see if it goes back to page 1. (Mine does nothing) Thanks

Thanks Kathlyn, Have actually got a bacardi and coke at my side but its not helping!! - although I must say have had some great help from people on the board this morning which has kept me going!! No just wondered if someone else was experiencing the same problem - its only been like this for about the last week or 10 days (may be since Ancestry did its changes) - just wondered if there was a new viewer to download or something similar. Hi Sunshine, Know just what you mean, but no I have not had that probelm myself but do understand how frustrating it must be clicking back page by page. When you consider how many hours each day we spend sitting at our computers, waiting to change page after page can be VERY anoying. Go and have a large G&T, or even a cuppa!!! Kathlyn

Having trouble 'jumping' through Ancestry census images, rather than scrolling page by page - I´ll try to explain what I mean! For example - am looking at the records of Portsea Workhouse for 1871 and am on page 25 out of a possible 54. I want to view page 1 of the census returns and the only way I can get there is by going back page by page with the arrow button. Used to be able to change the page number in the box and press go - and hey presto it would take it to the page you wanted!! Doesn´t work any more. Anyone else having problems (or anyone else understand what I am trying to do !!)
