G. 4459 Matthew Griffin .A.S. 9 F. 12 Aug 1836 died at Chinsurah Bengal 4 July 1837 5362 Micheal James Griffin. A.S. Staff, 22 Sept 1854 (com.having been antedated from 27 Oct 1854): 57 F 23 Oct 1855: Staff, 3 July 1860:3 Dn Gds 5 Aug 1864. S Staff 9 Mar 1867: h.p. 27 Jan 1870. died at Ballinrobe, Co Mayo 13 July 1870 Born in Ireland 16 June 1833 was appionted acting A.S 22 Sept 1854 2279 William Griffin A.S 3 Light Inf Batt of the Line Ireland, 25 Sept 1803: 30 F. 30 May 1805: 85 F. 25 Feb. 1813. That would be brilliant. Any of the Griffin family of Deddington, Oxfordshire up to 1890 (they were a family of surgeons), or the Buckell family of Salisbury, Chichester or Isle of wight 1750-1920 would be fantastic!
