Sorry, used to be quite articulate until I started on this genealogy lark. I'm using FTM 2006. At the moment I am concentrating on people my parents knew-and to keep their interest up I frequently print out an updated report (from the 'reports' button. I often have to update info eg when I dicover whom they married. However, when I go to print it as a report, after each updated fact it says 'Record Change' and gives the date it was updated-fine for me but of no real interest to the other 99% who read it. I feel sure there must be something I can untick to get rid of it. Jennie |

Not quite sure what your problem is. Are you using Family Tree Maker 2006 ? - if not what program are you using. |

When I print out a report, it also notes each time i have made a change to the info-I assume such as adding a DOB or middle name. When I print off the report I really do not want that on it-most people reading it get very confused. I can't seem to find anyway of removing it. Can't seem to add to the thread!! How have others done it?? I will check out that genforum. Been away from the site for a couple of days. Thanks to all who have helped-my tree would be nearlt twigless without all the suggestions received Jennie |
