Despite some early votes the trend is now away from PB, Special Agent and the Maid/Nell alliance is looking good but Glen is also polling strongly. All to play for in the fiercely fought battle. |

Welcome to the Official Tips Board Mascot Election Swingometer site for the September 2006 poll. Updates on this thread can include result predictions, election news updates, election gossip, post election analysis and hopefully some interviews with the candidates BUT please note that election manifestos and promises are not for this site but can be seen on the official voting thread monitored by the Returning Officer, Snowdrops in Bloom. This site is restricted to reportage, scurrilous gossip and innuendo. Any votes accidentally cast on this thread will not be counted. Latest News At this early stage there have already been some interesting election outbursts on both the Tips and General Boards but there is still everything to play for. Make sure you cast your vote as everyone can make a difference. Early reports show that although Returning Officer Snowdrops in Bloom has promised a fair vote, rumours of foul play have been circulating and in an unusual twist 2 candidates have been merged into one as a result of cheating to form the Maid/Gwynne alliance. Further pause for thought is that given the sparks already flying between Maid Marion and Paul Barton, Special Agent what happens if they poll equal numbers of votes? Is a Maid and Agent pact possible – perhaps it’s already being discussed? Could this love-hate relationship could provide the ultimate in Tips Board spice or will it tear us apart – only time and your votes will tell. The first Exit Poll will be published shortly after 11pm. |
