Aha I kept looking at it and thought it might be Jim,but wondered if the 'im' was really 'ohn' poorly copied. Now a builder could well have been a labourer 20+ years earlier. Interesting Shame there doesn't appear to be a marriage for John Townsend to Annie Turner (checked 1908 to 1925,as James birth cert is dated 1923 mmn Turner) Thanks Glen Glen |

I can't find anything that fits as a possible to this conundrum,just one more thing to check,and it's another trawl through marriage index.Grrr. Getting fed up with the blooming index lately.No idea where or when this was,probably post 1945 but thats all,,just have the grooms name and possible name for the bride (but she hasn't been born according to the index....poop) Glen |
