have you tried www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk they may have what youur looking for. I have been looking up my scottish ancestry on there and have had good results. |

I've only sent for a birth/christening and a marriage, which were quite detailed. A good place to ask is a recently started Scottish genealogy website http://scotfamtree.11.forumer(.)com/ Sorry - updated - remove brackets which has some very knowledgeable moderators and members. Are you aware that they cost £10 a go and are printed copies? John |

Julie, I haven't seen one but I believe they are very sketchy indeed, just date of burial and the person's name, and you are lucky if you even get that, as many parishes didn't keep burial records at all! Might be worth searching for monumental inscriptions; you might get lucky. Kate. |

I was wondering if anyone has ever seen an OPR death registry for Scotland. I would like to know if parents names are on there. I know they have no OPR deaths online. Thankyou Julie |
