Hi Christine I think there may be gaps or mistranscriptions on 1881. I;ve been looking for my Robert Wareham for about 6 years now - no joy. Suggest searching first name / year of birth and trawl through all possible matches. (not sure you can do this on FamilySearch) but Ancestry lets you. Also, try switching names around - forename/surname as I think there are a few odd ones that have been put in backwards. Good luck! Jill |

Alfred Penny Born 1856, West Bromwich, Staffordshire 1861 aged 5, Dunkerton, Somerset 1871 aged 15 Radstock, Somerset !881 NO IDEA 1891 aged 35, Ystradyfodwg, Glamorgan, S.Wales 1901 aged 45, Houghton le Spring, Durham 1926 died, Houghton le Spring, Durham Married Alice Budge and had at least 7 children My question is where was he for the 1881 census? had checked both england and wales census but he has dissappeared off the face of the earth,(there was no space travel-was there?) chris |
