My own tree records not appearing in search reques

Hi Wade, I've just bumped up the 'Has anyone noticed' thread which is about the same issue. I agree, not being able to see your own tree record is a serious hindrance. I cannot understand how GR considers it an improvement!! |

What am I missing? How are we supposed to find links anymore? Say I want to find who has the Bulls in Boldre how am I supposed to know who has a match with me anymore? It seems that the system has been redesigned with people with about 10 people in their tree, yet it is the people with large 1000+ trees who are the people who generate the necessary connections to make the site useful. Wow - that's a rediculous mistake. It was obviousluy 'upgraded' by people who had never actually used the system. It makes it so much more difficult to find matches etc |

Is it just me or have GR changed the system. when I searched for a surname/location on GR I used to get a list which included those people in my tree who fitted the search. This no longer seems to be the case. have they changed the system or is there an error with my data? Wade |
