I have had PARRY trouble, too ! Did you know that there is a one name study for this name? Maybe the researcher can help narrow your search. This site may be of interest. Remove * http://homepage.ntlworld.*com/im.griffiths/parryfamilyhistory/parryons.htm Gwyn

I think he might need to wait for the 1911 census. Then you will know where he was born.

You don't need to include the father's name when you order the birth cert. If something doesn't quite match they won't send the cert. Same with marriage certs. Only specify one name.

You still haven't listed his age and the witnesses from the marriage cert.

Jill 2011 (aka Warrior Princess of Cilla!) Report 3 Aug 2008 00:09

He may not have known his father's name so the name he put on the marriage certificate for dad could have been the name that dad was called by his friends. Perhaps dad's friends/family called him Ted or Edward as that was the name he preferred to be known by. His real name could have been anything - with possibly Edward as a middle name.

I've got one like that - he alternates between George Henry and Henry George - bliddy nuisance really.
