right can any one tellme what to do from info i have shelia was 18 years old when she had me i was born in 1955 so that would make shelia born 1937 but now have found a sheila alice voilet born in 1934 in west bromwich which is were i was brought up in care the info i have says she was sent back from belfast to her mother and father because i was on the way my under satanding was that you didnt be come of age then till 21 am i right or wrong and how would i find out which shelia was my mother

Violet isn't that common a surname. The fact there's a Sheila Alice born in your area seems more than just a coincidence to me. Rose

dont think she lived in ireland dont really no why she went to belfast i might have been concived there or here all that i do know is that she returned in may 1955 and i was born in nov 1955

Hi Bridgit, Just wanted to check the facts you think that your mother and her family where actually from the West Bromich area, she was living in Ireland fell pregnant with you, and returned to West Bromwich where she had you in 1955. The info you have on her how accurate is this? is this from your adoption records? or from your adopted parents? this is quite an rare name. Do you know if she stayed in England after the birth or returned to Ireland? Sheila

no shelia was not from ireland she was born in this country why she went to belfast is a mystry after she had me she had amnother seven children all born in the wast bromwich area

she married in 1957 to a mr herbert and had three girls with him then had a boy then had another boy with mr herbert she had another two by diffrent fathers in all she had nine of us
