*Nudge The more people who know about this site the better! I've added all my certificates and will urge some of my contacts to do the same. Another great site is: bmd-cert-exch-site(.)ourwardfamily(.)com/ (remove brackets), this is a site for people who have ordered the wrong certificates and are willing to pass them on to other people. I know lots of you will already know of this site but it's worth a reminder. Vicky X

Just received 3 more certs from GRO - only 6 days, inc w/e, from ordering! So I'll be adding them, too. Bx

I will put mine on too. It is handy for when you link up with another who is researching the same tree - instead of going through all the details again they can be referred to the site.

Its a really useful site. I have added 28 certificates over the last week,. and its free now until December 2007 and then a £1 a year. Alan

Does anyone know the website addy for the Scottish BMD share site. I did have it but lost somewhere in all my favourites. Betty

David Report 1 May 2007 15:50

I've just signed up and added it to my favourites because it looks a really useful site. They say that there will be a fee of only £1.00 payable in June for a years membership. Cheap at half the price! Thanks again for a real gem.

It's a brill site, I have all my certs on there. I even use it to check my own data now LOL! I would urge everyone to register, it can only be a good thing to share what we have already paid for! dizzy

Llamedos- Why is registering a problem? It's free! Or is there a problem I've not thought of? Bx

Oops! Sorry Martyn - another brain cell but have bitten the dust! Didn't mean to confuse you. But it's still a great idea. (The BMD site, not my brain cells withering even more.) Bx

Just wanted to plug the website bmwshare (.) c o m* - if you enter all the certs you have, other people don't have to buy certs., especially helpful if you're not sure which one you need. There's also an exchange service offered, for the certs that have been bought by mistake. This has come up on other threads, but it's worth a reminder. Go on, get entering - 'you know it makes sense'! Bx * Update - of course I meant bmD, not bmW! Confused Martyn no end! (See below)
