Linda- Just read your query. - I guess you could argue that, as the information can be obtained by anyone (who had £7 to spare!), then it's 'in the public domain' anyway, so there should be no problem in adding them to the site database. - On the other hand, if your 'common tree' rellies were kind enough to send you copies, then it would be polite to ask them, really. Just wondering about eveyone's opinions please. I've added all the certs I have ordered myself. But have some copies sent by people I have relatives in common with. I'm not sure if I should add them too or not? Thoughts please |

This is a great site but we still need lots more people to use it. So come on add your certs. The more people who do it the more chance we have of finding someone on there. Jane |

Have just filled in about 7 certs from one branch of my tree, planning on doing the rest later. It's such a great idea! I really really do hope it takes off.... at the mo there are none of mine (that I need) on there, but fingers crossed! Laura |

Hi The site is really good, a while agao I signed up to transcribe for them. They have had people asking if they would put the certs on for them. They emailed everyone who had signed up and asked if anyone was prepared to spend a little time doing this. They sent me scanned copies of the certs and special log in name and password. It only takes a few minutes to put the info in and helps everyone. Jo |

Just added another three certs. Time to order more from GRO - but eventually (I hope!) the need to do this will diminish, as they'll all be on BMDshare! Bx |
