Thats cool, but the william im looking at was born in 1837, and there is no mention of mary in the 1841 census June , its the right family but william disappered in 1851census

Hi Mark I believe a step son was sometimes shown as a son in law. Perhaps his mother was widdowed and remarried. Possibly he returned to his childhood home as a visitor. regards Tricia

Hi, I am looking at a William Norris Born 1837 in watford. I have found him in 1841, in 1851 he is at another address as a son in law(Age14), in 1861 he is down as a visitor back at the 1841 address. I just dont understand whats hapening. Does anyone have any suggestions?. Thanks Mark
