If you want people to help you, please give names and years.

These are the issues I currently have.
CHADWICK
I believe I have found the birth record of my great-great grandmother. On the way I discovered that she had 2 illegitimate children one of whom was the mother of my great grandfather. Unfortunately he appears to have also been illegitimate. I want to discover if my great-great grandmother was an only child or if she had siblings, Is it possible to do 'blind' searches using only her parents names to find another possible baptism record?

ROBINSON
The problem here is that a search for my maternal grandfather has produced a census record of 2 possible candidates. I am looking for the best way to proceed.

I am in my 70s and as far as I know my 2 living relatives of comparable ages or older would be unable to help me as neither appears to have any knowledge beyond their immediate family.

There are 15 Chadwick/Robinson marriages in Staffordshire according to Findmypast. If you give some forenames we can have a look for you.

As only a handful of people ever look at these message boards, your best bet is to do as Kathleen advises - unless you want help with research, in which case give full forenames and birth years

A good starting point would be the marriage which united the families

Click on "Search" at the top right of screen and then click on "search all member trees" from the drop down box. Put any names you have into the search box and see if anyone has these people in their trees.

I am looking for any members who have the above surnames in their family history.
The Chadwick side of my family appears to originate in the Staffordshire Moorlands area. The Robinson side in the Staffordshire area around Lichfield
