It might have got 'stuck'.
Email Support so that they can reset.

You're correct - an uploaded Gedcom will overwrite the original.

I am trying to import a new gedcom which I assumed would overwrite my old one, 12 hours later and its still importing (just over a thousand on the tree). Is this normal ? all help welcome. Tried searching chat for previous comments but nothing for importing found. :-S
