Old Leake.
The funeral of Mr Charles Pinner, Totfield Lane, Old Leake took place on Friday at the parish Church, conducted by the Rev. A Gibbons. Mourners were Mr Charles Pinner, Spilsby Mr and Mrs W Pinner, Friskney, Mr and Mrs J Pinner, Wrangle (sons and daughters in law); Mr and Mrs C Cade, Wainfleet, Mr and Mrs J Edwards, Hull, Mr and Mrs J Reeson, Old Leake (sons in law and daughters);Mrs H Wright, Friskney, Mr C Cage, Wainfleet, Miss B Pinner, Mr Alan Reeson, Mr Brian Reeson, Mrs H Snell, Mr John Pinner, Friskney (grandchildren) Mr and Mrs Meeds (nephew and niece): Mrs B Tebbs: Mrs F Horton; Mr G Howsam; Mr H Barber;; Mr G REdford. Four neighbours. Messrs. F Horton, E Crunkhorn, A Clayton and F Henton carried the coffin.

Events in the Villages - there are several villages named with events in each Lorraine. Is it Old Leake again? - there is a funeral listed with several Pinner mourners. If that's what you want, let me know and I'll do it tomorrow sometime - well past bedtime for now !!

Events in the Villages - OLD LEAKE

FUNERAL - Mr Walter Wainer whose death was recorded last week, was laid to rest in St Mary's Churchyard last Friday. The service was conducted by the Rev. J.A. Gibbons and the mourners were; Mr and Mrs E Meeds, Leake, Mr and Mrs C Limb, Haven Bank (daughters and sons in law); Master R Wainer, Old Leake (grandson); Mr C Pinner, Old Leake (brother in law; Mrs W Harlock, Boston (sister in law); Mrs w Pinner, Friskney, Mrs H Taylor, Wrangle (nieces); Mr C Pinner, Great Steeping, Mr J Pinner, Old Leake, Mr W Wainer, Leverton (nephews; Mr and Mrs F Fountain, Leake (nephew and niece);Mr F Limb, Dogdyke, Mr C Dokura, Leake, and Mr W Blackburn, Leake (friends). Owing to ill healthMr and Mrs C Wainer, Butterwick (brother and sister in law), Mrs C Pinner, Leake (sister) and Mr W HArlock, Boston (brother in law) were unable to be present. The bearers were four friends, Messrs F Blackburn, F Tempest, H Wilson and T Richardson.

Phewwww! Really helpful of them back then to print all the names etc. to make sure you've got all the relatives listed isn't it - but in pain in the derriere typing it all out!

Keeps me out of trouble !! And far less of a computer challenge. I think there has been a problem with people transferring info in this way (not just me), I've seen it mentioned on threads a couple of times. Anyway have tried sending you a PM with the newspaper page concerned as an attachment, so will wait and see if it's successful.
